- 12 slider buns, kept connected
- 12 ounces cooked sliced turkey
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected, and place the bottom half in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer sliced turkey evenly over the bottom buns.
- Place Swiss cheese slices over the turkey.
- Spread cranberry sauce evenly on top of the cheese.
- Place the top half of the buns over the filling.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and salt.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are lightly golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Cover during the first part of baking to prevent over browning.
- Use soft slider buns for best texture.
